OneLogin Announces Integration Partnership with UKG for HR-driven Identity Management
November 17th, 2016
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., November 17, 2016 - OneLogin, the identity management provider bringing speed and integrity to the modern enterprise, today announced an integration partnership with UKG, an award-winning provider of cloud-based human capital management (HCM) solutions, to deliver HR-driven Identity (HDI) for secure, single sign-on access to SaaS applications and devices.
“This integration enables organizations to easily adopt an HR-centric identity and user management workflow,” said David Meyer, vice president of product, OneLogin. “OneLogin provides a seamless integration that imports user identities from UKG; provisions them to Active Directory, LDAP, and SaaS apps; then provides access to the correct apps based on user attributes such as department and title.”
“UKG and OneLogin offer a strong partnership for our mutual customers,” said Martin Hartshorne, vice president of products, UKG. “UKG used in combination with OneLogin empowers HR teams to onboard and offboard employees from specific business applications automatically, enabling new employees to be immediately productive while ensuring that former employees can no longer access company apps and data that are restricted to active team members.”
HCM systems are the primary “source of truth” for identity since a company’s HR team is typically the first to know when an employee’s status changes — a new hire starts, a person’s role changes, or an employee leaves the company. For this reason, forward-thinking companies are connecting their HCM and IAM systems to ensure that application security accurately reflects employment status. This integration builds upon OneLogin and UKG’s existing SAML Single Sign-on (SSO) integration, providing secure access to UKG through OneLogin’s web portal and best-in-class connectors to AD, LDAP, and Google Directory.
