Taking Ground and Giving Back

June 12th, 2018   |     |  company news

The past few months have been big for all of us here at OneLogin.

Not only have we just raised a new $22.5 million in funding, but in the last seven months alone, the team has grown by over 20% to nearly 200 employees. To make room for all these new faces and prepare for more to come, this June we officially opened our new office in Redmond, Washington.

The Grand Opening was an all-hands-on-deck effort. OneLogin employees, their families, friends, and even pets banded together to get the office ready for the opening ceremony.

OneLogin CEO Brad Brooks hosted the official ribbon cutting with help from our honored guests, Washington State Senator Manka Dhingra, and Redmond City Council President Angela Birney. The ceremony was followed by a community-wide celebration, where attendees enjoyed drinks, snacks, and some awesome OneLogin swag.

Senator Dhinga joined the festivities and expressed her enthusiasm for the new OneLogin office opening in Redmond saying,“The greater Seattle area is home to some of the best technology talent in the country, which is why so many companies thrive here.” Senator Dhingra continued, “I’m glad to see OneLogin choose Redmond as the location for its new engineering hub and wish them the very best as they continue to grow in our city.”

To make this momentous occasion extra special, we used it as an opportunity to give back to the greater Redmond community with a few OneLogin Cares projects. OneLogin Cares is an initiative dedicated to supporting the communities that we work in. We have a lot to be grateful for and strive to share our good fortune with those around us who might need a helping hand.

To that end, we celebrated this grand opening by showing our support for HopeLink: a nonprofit committed to helping low-income families, children, seniors and people with disabilities gain the resources they need to exit poverty permanently.

Additionally, we announced that OneLogin is the first Signature Sponsor of the Grand Opening of the Hopelink Redmond Service Center, which will house their Food Bank, Client Services, and administrative offices. We couldn’t be more excited to witness the development and construction of this new headquarters and are looking forward to helping the HopeLink team open their doors later this summer.

But we didn’t stop there! Our employee’s first official mission in the newly christened Redmond office was to roll up their sleeves and hand-make some 200 PB&J sandwiches for the hungry in Redmond.

This was our small way of showing our support for the MORELove Project: a nonprofit dedicated to teaching love and compassion, and connecting those in greatest need with their surrounding communities.

On a personal note, it’s activities like these that make me feel especially proud to be part of the OneLogin team. It’s been a very busy year so far, and I am excited to see where this company goes next.

If you’re interested in joining the OneLogin family, I’ve got good news: We are hiring! Check out our Careers Page to find your place at OneLogin.

Stay tuned for more exciting milestones to come as we continue reporting here.
