We’ve Moved: Our New Office Nearly Triples our Footprint in Redmond

November 7th, 2019   |     |  culture & news

It’s November…And, as the 2019 calendar begins to wind down, OneLogin’s momentum continues to ramp up. After starting the year with $100M in additional funding, we’re closing the book on 2019 with an emphatic bang. This week we introduced our new Chief Trust and Security Officer, Vanessa Pegueros, but we didn’t stop there. We’ve grown a bit since we first opened our Redmond, WA office in 2018. This week we celebrated our continued growth in the community with a brand new office that nearly triples our presence in the Pacific Northwest.

For decades, King County has been home to some of the tech industry’s most talented minds. As OneLogin has grown over the years, we’ve found it prudent to grow alongside a region and city that sits at the forefront of innovation. In fact, since opening shop in Redmond, our team has experienced more than 40% growth in headcount. Our Redmond team is comprised of staff from multiple disciplines including engineering, human resources, marketing, product, and security. Our office expansion gives us space to continue recruiting and hiring talent from within the region.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
To celebrate the opening of our new space, we hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony alongside members of the Redmond community. Angela Birney, Redmond’s newly elected mayor joined OneLogin President and CEO Brad Brooks and shared remarks about our growth since she last joined us at our 2018 Redmond Office ribbon-cutting ceremony.

OneLogin President and CEO Brad Brooks expressed his excitement for continuing to attract talent in the Redmond community. “We’ve nearly tripled our footprint with this new space and couldn’t be happier to fill these desks with future employees.”

We’d like to thank everyone who joined us in celebrating our latest milestone, including honored guests from the Redmond community like Councilman David Carso and representatives from OneRedmond. We appreciate their support as we continue to grow in the Redmond community.

Giving Back to the Redmond Community
However, the day didn’t start with the ribbon-cutting. Most of our Redmond office staff comes from or currently lives in the Redmond community. As an organization and as individuals, we pride ourselves on giving back to the communities where we work and live. As part of our OneLogin Cares initiative, our team assembled 100 “Blessing Bags” with the MORELove project to share with families and individuals in need.

Attracting Top Local Talent
The opening of a new, bigger office marks an opportunity to grow and add new talent. To close the evening, we opened our doors to the community to check out our new digs and meet with our staff. The Open House included speakers from our engineering leadership, as well as, our human resources and security teams. Following opening remarks, our staff was available to connect with local talent about careers at OneLogin.
