You don’t need us to tell you that cyber attacks are on the rise. As the risk of security incidents and breaches become normalized, privacy laws and companies are positioning themselves to secure access to sensitive data, files, and applications. In a time of growing cybersecurity risk, many overlook internal threats like privilege misuse and abuse. A Verizon data investigations report found that 28% of breaches were perpetrated by internal actors with 12% involving privilege misuse.
The concern over privilege misuse necessitates security solutions that control access to an organization’s most sensitive data and apps. As organizations manage an ever-growing catalog of apps—both on-prem and in the cloud—securing access is becoming mission critical. To meet this challenge, OneLogin delivers simple, secure identity and access management for apps across enterprises. And, today we’re excited to announce our partnership with Prianto to deliver our services to customers in the United Kingdom.
Who is Prianto?
Prianto is a software distributor with a growing presence across IT markets in Europe and the United States. Their organization is comprised of a staff and knowledge base that prioritizes security. As a partner distributor, Prianto works with vendors that drive value for resellers in the UK and across Europe. They package and sell solutions that connect SaaS apps to Active Directory (AD) environments with a focus on end-user experience. The OneLogin and Prianto partnership builds upon our existing presence in the UK through access to Prianto’s global partner network.
How does the integration work?
As noted, Prianto is a focused knowledge based distributor that sells software and SaaS based platforms where the drivers are based on user experience and security. The solutions they currently deliver like SolarWinds Access Rights Manager (ARM) enable organizations to remain compliant with modern regulatory requirements like General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). ARM also provides a comprehensive view of the access users have to systems, data, and files within AD, Exchange, SharePoint, and file servers.
OneLogin extends Prianto’s solution to secure end-user access to corporate SaaS applications. OneLogin delivers additional value by extending Prianto’s solution and enabling IT admins to control access to SaaS apps like O365, Box, and Slack among others.
