OneLogin @ RSAC 2016: Post-Event Summary

March 9th, 2016   /     /   company news, product and technology

A big thank you to everyone who joined OneLogin at RSAC2016 in San Francisco last week! We had a fantastic time talking security technology at the 25th Anniversary of the event.

Let’s go over the details, shall we?

New Look

Day one of RSAC was very exciting for all of us here at OneLogin. On Monday Feb 29th we revealed our brand new logo and typeface- the biggest change to our brand identity since OneLogin’s inception in 2009. We got some great feedback from visitors at our booth, and are so glad that you all like our new look as much as we do.

New Features

RSAC was also the perfect platform for OneLogin to demonstrate some new product features. At the OneLogin booth, our knowledgeable staff demonstrated features including OneLogin WAM, our new integration platform, and one of the hottest features at RSAC- OneLogin Desktop. Together, these features empower enterprises with quick and easy identity and access management.

“It’s always exciting to see the response of the public to new features we are offering at RSAC,” said OneLogin CISO, Alvaro Hoyos. “Since we dogfood features internally prior to launch, it’s always satisfying to see them offered to the general public.”

Strong Engagement

Looking back, this was one of the most successful and interesting conferences OneLogin has been a part of. The world of tech security has changed a lot in the past few years. After years of on-premise data management being the norm, organizations are now moving toward cloud use more rapidly than ever. According to our booth representatives, this was apparent in the level of engagement at our booth.

“This was my 3rd RSA. I spoke with partners Duo, SkyHigh and CloudLock and all of them said the same thing I did which was: attendees seemed to be more educated and looking for solutions,” said OneLogin VP Of Business Development, Josh Greene.

“I engaged in more meaningful discussions of how we might be able to assist businesses. The ratio of job seekers, tire kickers, and visitors without funding to pursue projects seemed much lower in 2016.”

It’s very exciting for us at OneLogin to see corporations transitioning into what we’ve been specializing in for so long.

Partner Involvement

Our partners CloudLock, Duo and Egnyte also demoed their products at the OneLogin booth. CloudLock is the leading provider of CASB and Cybersecurity-as-a-Service solutions. Duo Security is a cloud-based access security provider protecting the world’s fastest-growing companies and thousands of organizations worldwide, including NASA, Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, and more. And Egnyte is the market leader in Adaptive Enterprise File Services for secure file sharing and smart collaboration, in the cloud and on premises. A big thank you to all of our partners who participated.

Awesome Parties

OneLogin also participated in a number of parties to celebrate the event! We hosted an exclusive “Secure Hard 2016” networking party at Novela bar in San Francisco on Tuesday, March 1. Attendees got the chance to talk security while enjoying beverages and appetizers.

OneLogin was also a sponsor for the CloudLock “Let it Glow” rave at Ruby Skye on Wednesday March 2. At this unforgettable glow-themed event, guests enjoyed dancing, an open bar, and had the chance to win a Harley Davidson motorcycle!

If you didn’t catch us at RSAC this year, meet us at RSAC 2017! Mark your calendar for February 13-17 2017. We look forward to seeing you there!
