OneLogin Feature Announcement: New Integration Platform at RSAC2016

February 26th, 2016   |     |  company news, product & technology

As a follow-up to our previously announced RSA Conference 2016 announcement on OneLogin Desktop - “OneLogin Unplugs the Directory for Cloud Companies” - we’re also announcing “New OneLogin Integration Platform Enables Dynamic, Adaptive Security Policies.”

Our new integration platform was built using real-time security event streaming, CASB and adaptive access policy technologies to improve security automation and risk management. OneLogin’s new integration platform creates a tighter connection with Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASBs) such as OneLogin partners CloudLock and Skyhigh Networks, which further automates the process of identifying and shutting down potential security holes.

CASB providers use advanced machine learning to detect anomalies in account usage, based on factors such as activities outside of whitelisted countries, actions across distances in an impossible amount of time, as well as users accessing large amounts of confidential information in a short period of time. This enables use cases such as real-time identification of suspicious geographic activity in a user account, notifying OneLogin automatically and allowing OneLogin to respond accordingly.

If the system suspects a user’s account might be compromised, it can ask the user to provide additional proof of identity. If it can identify a user as fraudulent, it can immediately suspend the user’s access pending a full forensic analysis. This enhanced integration significantly strengthens risk management of remote or other external workers, while reducing the IT operations necessary to block potential attacks.

“CloudLock is a perfect complement to OneLogin, and I couldn’t be more excited about this partnership. Together we can block or suspend a user in real-time from suspicious activity, whether within a cloud app or across all of their cloud services. Our unified solution enables companies across the world to monitor and address security incidents around users, data, and applications and, and more importantly, mitigate the risk immediately,” said David Meyer, Vice President of Product at OneLogin.

OneLogin partners will also be providing demonstrations at OneLogin’s booth (1033) during the RSA Conference 2016 to showcase the innovative and compelling ways they are empowering businesses. The partners and their demo times are as follows:

CloudLock - the leading provider of CASB and Cybersecurity-as-a-Service solutions. Demo Times: Tuesday, March 1 from 1pm - 3pm; Wednesday, March 2 from 3pm - 5pm and Thursday, March 3 from 11am - 12pm.

DUO Security - the cloud-based access security provider protecting the world’s fastest-growing companies and thousands of organizations worldwide, including NASA, Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, and more. Demo Times: Tuesday, March 1 from 3pm - 5pm; Wednesday, March 2 from 11am - 1pm and Thursday, March 3 from 12pm-1pm.

Egnyte - the market leader in Adaptive Enterprise File Services for secure file sharing and smart collaboration in the cloud and on-premises. Demo Times: Tuesday, March 1 from 11am-1pm; Wednesday, March 2 from 1pm-3pm and Thursday, March 3 from 1pm-2pm.

“By working together, CloudLock and OneLogin combine IDaaS/IAM security with a cloud-native, multi-mode CASB to aggregate and correlate pre- and post-login data indicative of suspicious behavior to identify risk that would otherwise go undetected,” said Gil Zimmermann, CEO and Co-founder of CloudLock. “This orchestration enables our joint customers to build a defense against compromised cloud accounts and the growing volume of cloud-native malware.”
