OneLogin Continues to Rise as a Visionary in the 2018 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Access Management, Worldwide

July 3rd, 2018   |     |  company news

For the second consecutive year, Gartner has named OneLogin as a visionary in their Magic Quadrant for Access Management, Worldwide.

Since last year’s report, OneLogin has shot up and to the right. This continued improvement in our location on the quadrant is welcomed recognition that reflects OneLogin’s unique position as the world’s leading Unified Access Management provider.

Worth noting in the report: we have surpassed one of our competitors, Centrify - a company with double our number of employees that was founded five years before OneLogin.

Even more exciting than OneLogin’s new placement is the feedback we received from Gartner.

As a customer-focused organization, we were delighted to see Gartner explicitly call out positive references from our customers in the areas of quick implementation, service functionality, reliability and customer support. What’s more, in Gartner’s Peer Insights, out of all of the vendors in the Leader and Visionary quadrants, customers gave OneLogin the highest ranking.

Gartner also specifically called out several OneLogin capabilities as strengths, including OneLogin Desktop, Virtual LDAP, and adaptive authentication. But perhaps most significantly, Gartner highlighted OneLogin Access, a new product that empowers organizations with the ability to easily centralize access to both on-premise and SaaS applications.

More than anything, Gartner’s report reflects the awesome momentum behind the OneLogin organization. OneLogin has just secured a fresh $22.5 million in funding, is expanding to new parts of the country, and is growing its employee-base more rapidly than ever before.

When evaluating access management vendors on their ability to execute, Gartner analyzed product and service, overall viability, sales execution and pricing and customer experience, among other criteria. When evaluating vendors on their completeness of vision, Gartner analyzed market understanding, sales strategy, innovation and geographical strategy, among other criteria.
