Last week, OneLogin and hundreds of other technology companies attended Educause Conference 2016: The premier gathering of IT professionals and technology providers across education. I had the pleasure of attending Educause personally, and can wholeheartedly say that the event was a huge success!
“Educause is a forum for Higher Education to research new technologies which enable their businesses to be more efficient, agile and sustainable,” said Erin Lupo, Higher Education Account Executive at SHI California.
“SHI believes that Solutions like OneLogin tie all of the pieces of IDM and Access Management together - like MFA, single sign on, provisioning and de-provisioning - with little staff expertise, while still making it easy for customers to be safe and secure.”
In addition to seeing the latest and greatest from other organizations in the ever-changing field of education, but it was also great to see so much buzz around OneLogin in this space.
“With 31% of apps used in educational institutions being risky, the education industry needs to build an intelligent security ecosystem investing in best-in-class expertise and technologies that maintain an open and collaborative working environment,” said Ayse Kaya Firat, Director of Analytics & Customer Insights, CloudLock.
For schools new to OneLogin, it was awesome to see their reactions to our demo with our rock star Solution’s Engineer, Tony Chon. We are excited to be directing more of our attention to the Education space going forward, simplifying the lives of students, faculty and staff members, and taking a tremendous load off of IT’s plate.
Thank you to all who made this event possible, as well as those who came by the OneLogin booth. We’ll see you all next year on October 31–November 3 in Philadelphia, PA for Educause 2017!
