We are very excited to announce our new integration and partnership with Cloudflare, the leading Internet performance and security company!
Who is Cloudflare?
Cloudflare, Inc. protects and accelerates any internet application online without adding hardware, installing software, or changing a line of code. Internet properties powered by Cloudflare have all web traffic routed through its constantly-learning global network, resulting in much better performance and much fewer spam and other attacks.
What does this integration do?
OneLogin’s cloud-based Unified Access Management Platform now integrates with Cloudflare Access, and provides seamless zero-trust authentication across SaaS and on-premise applications, eliminating the need for VPNs.
“Mobile workforces allow employees the flexibility they need to work anywhere, at any time, however, VPNs remain slow and clunky,” said Matthew Prince, co-founder and CEO of Cloudflare. “Our collaboration with OneLogin gives our mutual customers a centralized access point for enterprise applications, regardless of where they are in the world.”
How does this integration work?
Cloudflare Access can now automatically vet all user access requests to corporate applications and prompt the user to authenticate using OneLogin. Upon successful authentication against OneLogin, Cloudflare Access verifies the access policies and establishes a unique session for that user.
The result is that IT and security teams can seamlessly assess the trustworthiness of an access request and enable secure authentication across their entire portfolio of applications, whether on-premise or cloud-hosted.
“All too often we see large enterprises with complex, hybrid environments relying on VPNs that are burdensome for IT, slow for end-users, and not guaranteed to be secure,” said Tim Gunderson, VP of business development and channels at OneLogin. “Together, OneLogin and Cloudflare allow users to connect directly to on-premise and cloud-hosted applications, eliminating the need for VPNs while also ensuring end-to-end access security.”
Where can I learn more?
