Living in a Password Free World in the Modern Enterprise

May 6th, 2016   /     /   smarter identity, security and compliance

Writing in the May 2 issue of Help Net Security, OneLogin CEO and Co-founder Thomas Pedersen takes readers through the evolution of passwords in the modern enterprise and brings them to the ultimate conclusion:

“The era of password security in the modern enterprise is over. Passwords are dead.”

According to Pedersen, “Whether they are on-premise, in the cloud, or a hybrid of the two, today’s modern enterprises have moved beyond the password graveyard. They’ve began using Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions that enable them to securely enable the right people to have fast and frictionless access to the right applications for the right reasons.”

To read more on Pedersen’s observations on how enterprises can address today’s external and internal (extended employee, partner and contractor ecosystem) security and risk challenges using IAM solutions, read the full article, “Living in a Password Free World in the Modern Enterprise.”
