The first installment of OneLogin Connect 2016, in San Francisco, was a spectacular success! We had a fantastic turnout and an even more fantastic time discussing the future of OneLogin with you.
In case you missed out on the San Francisco event, here are some key highlights and things to look forward to at OneLogin Connect New York.
OneLogin Product Roadmap and Ideas Session
OneLogin Connect is the only place that customers and prospects can get detailed insight into the future of OneLogin’s service, participate in an active discussion around OneLogin products with developers, and vote on upcoming OneLogin feature updates.
We don’t want to spoil the surprise for for our New York attendees, but we have some exciting product updates that we shared with our SF attendees. Some key product highlights include OneLogin Desktop for both Mac and PC, how we’re integrating our recently acquired Portadi technology to provide an enhanced browser experience, and much more!
We also invited you, our guests to share your thoughts on what we are doing right, what isn’t working, and how we can improve our service going forward. We can’t thank you enough for submitting your suggestions. We take them very seriously.
By the way, if you have other ideas you want us to consider in the future, you can submit them in the Ideas Portal here. And if you want to stay as up to date as possible on OneLogin product updates, check out the What’s New Section of the OneLogin blog!
Speaker and Panel Discussion
Attendees at the SF Conference also got a chance to hear from fellow OneLogin customers! A huge thank you to our guest speaker, Patrick Scanlan, Supervisor of Technology & Information Services at the San Jose Unified School District.
Patrick covered SJUSD’s journey into Identity and Access Management (IAM), where they had to revamp an outdated email and file sharing system. This led them to using OneLogin to secure one application (Box), and eventually used OneLogin to secure dozens of applications for tens of thousands of students and staff. We learned that the education segment poses some challenging use cases for IAM, given the constrained budgets, high level of privacy requirements around student data, and high levels of user churn — at any point of the year, students can enroll, move to a higher grade, graduate, etc. We are happy to hear of how SJUSD is bringing public education into the 21st century, and are glad we have been able to play a part.
We would also like to extend our thanks to everyone at the SF event who participated in the customer panel discussion, including David Roth, Director of Technical Solutions at Aspire Public Schools; Todd Brillon, Manager of Software Engineering & Support at Dell Services; Zach Boewer, IT Director at Scale Venture Partners; Doug Meier, Director of Security & Compliance at Pandora Media; and Rob Bastress, Sr. Director of Information Systems at Intacct.
Your commentary on how implementing OneLogin into your corporate infrastructures has positively impacted your organizations was invaluable. We hope to see more of you next year!
Attendees at OneLogin Connect in New York will get the chance to hear from Aaron Windle, IT Manager at Frontline Technologies; Tony Gosselin, IT Director at TubeMogul; and Tim Schwartz, Director of Innovation at Whitby School as they discuss Hybrid IT - Leveraging the Old and the New for Maximum Velocity.
Our guest speaker, Mustafa Ebadi, Vice President of IT & Services at SOTI, will also take the stage to discuss how implementing OneLogin helped his organization address its specific IT infrastructure needs.
Networking and Cocktail Hour
Attendees at OneLogin Connect SF also got the opportunity to network with their industry peers over drinks and appetizers. This is the only event that truly fosters discussion and interaction between OneLogin customers, and helps our clients develop professional relationships with one another.
On that note, thank you also to the Hyatt Regency in SF for providing some delicious appetizers at their gorgeous venue.
