Here at OneLogin, we love coming to work. Even in this new work-from-home economy, OneLogin has continued to pedal fast, and we are continuing to disrupt the industry as we have since day one. Most importantly - we’re changing the way identity and security are managed by companies.
Each and every OneLoginer upholds our 5 values: Security First, Customer Focused, Collaborative, Accountable, and Creative. Each month, OneLoginers have the option to nominate their peer, mentor, or manager for our monthly MVP award. The OneLogin MVP award is given to the employee(s) who has received the most nominations from their peers for embracing our OneLogin values through their work.
Last month, we awarded Karan Ratanpal, Sr. Escalations Manager on our Customer Success team.
Now, drumroll, please…
The recipient of our June MVP Award is Jack Kuntz, Sr. FP&A Analyst! We are so proud of Jack and all his hard work and, especially, for embracing our OneLogin values. Hear what our colleagues said about Jack:
“Jack is one of the bedrocks of the Finance Department. His savvy at obtaining facts about our business … Jack’s skill and collaboration enable our sales practice to run smoothly - particularly, Jack plays key roles in defining comp plans, designing our sales/services pricing models, being a key advisor when designing custom pricing for customers, and so on. It’s back-breaking (well…maybe more like eye-breaking) work that he takes full responsibility and accountability for, and gets it done, gets it done well, and gets it done timely. I hope we can recognize the value that Jack brings to the table.”
“Jack is the Superman of Finance. He gets pulled into multiple directions on a daily basis and has never missed a commitment or disappointed an internal/external customer. He is able to create a model faster than a speeding train, lift up the morale of the team by being so helpful, and basically save the day!”
“Jack has emerged as a true leader at OneLogin. He is a powerful combination of an analytical powerhouse that has very strong business judgment … he truly “owns” his role in identifying business trends, guiding decisions, and doing the best thing for the company … He is a true OneLogin MVP.”
I love seeing all this OneLoginer love! I did a short interview with him today so let’s get to know more about his day-to-day and what he likes to do in his free time:
What does a typical day at OneLogin look like for you?
My days at OneLogin vary depending on the day and the time of quarter/year. For example, I help manage our annual planning/budgeting cycle, so I am very busy with that during the late Fall / early Winter. I also support our Investor and Board reporting, so the end of each quarter is typically focused on that. In between those types of larger projects and on a more day-to-day basis, I help a lot with data, analytics, and weekly / monthly reporting on our business to help our leadership team stay in touch with important performance indicators. In addition, I run a lot of financial models to help inform decisions around business initiatives we are contemplating as a company. Basically anytime there is data or numbers involved, I love to stick my head in.
What does being awarded OneLogin’s MVP of the Month award mean to you?
Being awarded the MVP of the month is really exciting. It is always nice when your colleagues recognize you in some way. I really enjoy working and collaborating with different people at our company to continue to grow and optimize our business, so it’s nice to hear that my work is appreciated by my peers.
What are some things you enjoy doing outside of work?
Outside of work, I am a big sports / outdoor activity fan. I really enjoy being outside with friends (with a little bit of competition). I am also a big comedy fan and enjoy traveling with my fiance (can’t wait to do that again!).
If you could only live in one place for the rest of your life, where would it be and why?
I’d live at the Jersey Shore but I’d request it be Summer 12 months a year. Not sure who that request would go to though - might just send IT a ticket.
