I was very proud to see the spirit of each of these values in full swing earlier this month at our annual user conference, OneLogin Connect London. We welcomed 100+ customers and partners to discuss the latest and greatest in access management, and explore the future of the space together.
Here are a few of the highlights as they relate to the values that define us:
Security First: Securing Your Company with a Hacker Mindset
Being a security first organization is our top priority. This not only means protecting the data of our constituents, but also educating them on the latest trends in the security space.
OneLogin Connect featured some excellent speaking sessions, but for me, the highlight was when OneLogin CSO Justin Calmus led a fascinating discussion on the topic of “Securing your Organization with a Hacker Mindset.” In this session, Justin explored some of the newest and most interesting ways that hackers attempt to attack organizations’ systems, and what IT teams can do to protect themselves.
Justin has several years of hacking experience under his belt, having even cultivated a community of more than 100,000 hackers during his time at HackerOne. It was a very special treat to see Justin call upon his past experience, and highlight the specific hacking tools and tactics that security experts need to know about today.
Customer Focused: Face-to-face conversations
As a customer focused organization, we were thrilled to give our customers and partners the chance to engage with product managers, engineers, and executives.
The event started with our “Ask the Experts” session, wherein customers got the opportunity to interact with OneLogin product managers, provide feedback based on their experiences, and get their burning questions answered.
Perhaps most importantly, our customers got the chance to interact with one-another - networking with their peers and comparing notes about how to get the most out of the OneLogin product toolset.
Accountability: Giving back to our community
OneLogin takes accountability seriously. For us, this goes beyond maintaining a standard of responsibility and excellence in our work. It also extends to taking responsibility for improving our communities as a whole.
Giving back is a fundamental part of how we operate as a business. Whether we’re marching the streets of San Francisco picking up litter or hosting a bug bounty to raise money for nonprofits, we make it a priority to celebrate each major company milestone with a philanthropic event.
As a continuation of our OneLogin Cares initiative, I am proud to share that we concluded our user conference with a £5,000 donation to the British Red Cross.
The British Red Cross helps millions of people in the UK and around the world get the support they need if crisis strikes, and we could not be happier to help them in their mission to provide aid to those in need. Collaboration and Creativity: Thank you for participating
The value of OneLogin Connect is ultimately derived from its participants’ willingness to collaborate and think creatively. I saw these last two values in every aspect of the event - from our customers collaborating with us to improve our products to the creative storytelling of our keynote speakers to our many employees working behind the scenes to make this user conference such a success.
I want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who made OneLogin Connect London and OneLogin Connect San Francisco possible this year. Your commitment is pivotal for us to maintain our position as the world’s leading Unified Access Management platform.
OneLogin Connect will be reconvening again next year. We look forward to continuing to define the future of secure access with you then. But in the meantime, we hope you’ll contact us with any questions you have about our products.
Until next year!
