October 21st, 2021   |     |  product and technology, culture & news

OneLogin is extremely proud to announce our Connect 2021 customer awards. These awards recognize customers who excel at using OneLogin’s platform for business transformation, cloud deployment, collaboration, and innovation.

This year’s winners were selected from OneLogin’s customer base of more than 2,500 businesses, which were evaluated based on quantitative metrics, individual usage, and company-wide adoption of a security-first mindset. Businesses were nominated across four different categories: IAM Evangelist, Transformation Titan, Customer Experience Conqueror, and Security Superstar

The OneLogin Loggie awards honor our OneLogin customers who are the best of the best, who are shaping the future of IT and security, and who have positively influenced their businesses with our solutions. We are not only impressed by their platform implementation, but also with their collaboration and innovation when it comes to boosting their security resiliency.

This year, OneLogin recognized the following customers for the annual OneLogin Loggie awards. Congratulations to each of the winners!

Pete Snell, FCSJ & Adam Walters, FSCJ
OneLogin’s IAM Evangelist award goes to a customer who goes above and beyond to share the positive ways OneLogin impacts their organization. This customer proudly advocates on our behalf and is always willing to help build the OneLogin story with customer references, referrals, and other external advocacy efforts.

This year’s award goes to Pete Snell and Adam Walters from Florida State College Jacksonville: As Executive Director of Network and Server Systems, Pete oversees the design, planning, implementation, maintenance, and development of the IT infrastructure. Pete enjoys designing and implementing new innovative technologies and efficient solutions that benefit the entire college. As a Systems Engineer, Adam learns and implements new technologies, while also minimizing user-facing impacts.

OneLogin’s Transformation Titan award goes to a customer who is clearly demonstrating best-in-class business transformation and measurable business value from utilizing OneLogin. This customer openly collaborates on innovative ways to strengthen identity security by pushing the boundaries and adopting new technologies.

This year’s award goes to Ryan Hoster from Media.Monks: As Senior Director of IT Operations, Ryan provides consistent and secure access to all company platforms for about 6,000 employees across 25 companies. From MightyHive and Decoded to S4 Capital and Media.Monks, this account is the true definition of a transformation titan because the business continues to grow and evolve at a very rapid pace. In fact, Media.Monks is now leveraging OneLogin for their entire organization, so they can continue to quickly augment their business through strategic acquisitions and leverage OneLogin’s automations to scale.

Brian Cole from WOW! Internet, Cable & Phone
OneLogin’s Customer Experience Conqueror award goes to a customer who has improved the customer experience by providing frictionless authentication for their organization with OneLogin. A customer-centric mindset enabled them to deliver a unified customer experience to strengthen their company’s security posture.

This year’s award goes to Brian Cole from WOW! Internet, Cable & Phone: WOW! previously used another company for their internal identity, along with contractors and outsourced call centers. However, as soon as their contract ended, they moved most services to OneLogin. They consistently share how easy OneLogin is to use and rave about our support. They recently started to roll out OneLogin Protect and Symantec VIP to users, which has proven to be a flawless experience.

OneLogin’s Security Superstar award goes to a customer who has prioritized defending their organization against cyberthreats by investing in technologies that help them enforce the principle of least privilege with OneLogin. A security-first mindset has allowed this customer to lay the groundwork for their strategic Zero Trust implementation.

This year’s Security Superstar award goes to Joe Alcorn and Ben Nixon from Point Loma Nazarene University: As Manager of Infrastructure Services and Architecture, Joe is responsible for the University’s server, network, and cloud infrastructure. With experience gained over 20 years in IT at PLNU, he has become a firm believer in the benefits of close, collegial collaboration between Operations and InfoSec. To this end, Joe leads his team in a quest to make sure that security is baked in and not bolted on. As the Director of Information Security, Ben is a skilled communicator and strategic thinker, who is a leader in information security for higher education. A customer since 2017, the PLNU team has been tireless advocates and partners to OneLogin.
