We were asked to contribute to CloudLock’s 2016 Predictions for their blog focused around the future of cloud security. From our perspective, combined with that of thought leaders from our 2K customer base, we contributed answers to the following questions:
What challenges will organizations face in the cloud?
Our response: Modern enterprises will view cloud identity and security initiatives as business accelerators, rather than additional activities to meet compliance mandates.
What will be the new security hot buttons?
Our response: Multi-factor authentication (MFA) will become more ubiquitous, and it will be leveraged in the identity management platform to secure all applications rather than restricted to individual apps.
How will/should priorities shift?
Our response: Security policies will become more adaptive to context, rather than defined by hard rules, when it comes to detecting outlier behavior and mitigating risk.
