We asked Leaders in Security and Access Management, “What’s Next in 2021?”

December 9th, 2020   |     |  culture and news, security & compliance

So let’s just agree, no one could have predicted EVERYTHING that has happened this year. I mean, some of the events might have been inevitable. Health experts have always warned us of the possibility of a world-wide pandemic, especially with so much international travel. Civil unrest certainly isn’t anything new. Floods, earthquakes, tornados, and wildfires have been around since before humans walked the earth. But month after month, all in one year just seems a bit unbelievable and was frankly quite exhausting. You just never knew what disaster was going to happen next and planning for anything seemed like a waste of time when the future was so unpredictable.

Luckily the year is almost over! 2021 is just around the corner. With COVID-19 vaccines on the horizon, we are all starting to feel a bit hopeful again. With that feeling of hope, we can begin to look to the future and start to make plans.

In anticipation of the new year, we asked leaders in the Security and Access Management space what they saw in store for us in 2021. Some warn of cybersecurity threats and where we will see them coming from. Others predict how businesses and technology will further have to adapt. Most of them touch on how this newly formed remote workforce is causing changes in the threat landscape, in technology and in how businesses work and reach their customers. One thing is clear, all that has happened in 2020 has changed the world forever. No matter what, OneLogin will be here to help in any way we can. Download the ebook to read through what they have to say and start planning for the future.
