Software Engineering Manager

Description

We are looking for somebody that can effectively manage a team of industry-leading engineers to find the best solutions and deliver quick results.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example
• Set the coding standard for the team and lead by producing high quality code
• Mentor direct reports and provide motivation on a daily basis
• Work with the recruiting team to identify and hire additional team members
• Work with product management to deliver new integrations that meet customer timelines
• Work closely with customer success to address customer integration needs very quickly

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Senior or Lead Developer
• Coding and design skills in Ruby on Rails, Python, or Java
• 2+ years proven track record of managing and mentoring a team
• Advanced knowledge of software development principles and practices in an agile environment
