The OneLogin Winter’19 Release Unveils New Capabilities for the Hybrid Enterprise

February 19th, 2019   |     |  product and technology, what's new

Over the last decade, we have seen the explosion of SaaS applications, with many organizations living in a hybrid state - managing a blend of on-prem apps and cloud apps. The only problem? Traditional access management approaches and solutions are aimed at addressing only one of the two environments.

With that in mind, OneLogin’s Winter’19 Release focuses on key product features and functionality to meet the needs of the hybrid enterprise. Why? Because here at OneLogin, we want to simplify access management for our customers (regardless of their environment) by making it simple and reliable for a user to login into business-critical apps, while giving admins a secure, scalable, and easily managed solution.

What’s New in OneLogin Access?
OneLogin Access empowers enterprises to simply and reliably secure access management operations for on-prem and cloud applications. It provides greater security and visibility while saving costs, enhancing the user experience, and increasing employee productivity.

We are pleased to announce three new solutions for OneLogin Access that will seamlessly enable single sign-on for Oracle EBS, Oracle Peoplesoft, Atlassian JIRA and Confluence. Companies can now easily enable user policies, MFA and remote VPN access to these on-prem apps. And centralized access management brings with it event logging and reporting capabilities. These new solutions for OneLogin Access are available today.

What’s New in OneLogin Authentication?
Exciting new capabilities have been added to our Authentication services:

  • RADIUS allows customers to leverage MSCHAPv2 (commonly used with enterprise WiFi authentication) and enable OneLogin Protect push notifications. It enables customers to have a zero on-prem footprint.
  • Certificate-based Device Trust can leverage third-party certificates as a second-factor during authentication/authorization. Customers can choose to reuse an existing PKI infrastructure. and select the authentication model/certificate of their choice.
  • Trusted IDP now supports for both SP and IDP initiated flows, Just in Time (JIT) provisioning (create/update), and JIT transformations. Organizations can now extend their services to partners.

These authentication capabilities will be available to customers by the end of March.

Introducing Early Access for New Admin Experience
OneLogin’s New Admin Experience, including Delegated Admin, allows admins to delegate management responsibilities across their organization in a granular and flexible way using the new Privileges model, which defines who (a user or role) has access to what (a resource such as app) under what conditions (such as network context).
