Dropbox adds password manager, vault, and other security features
The cloud-based storage company announced new security features for its Dropbox Pule users. It includes a password manager (similar to LastPass) and a vault (similar to Microsoft OneDrive’s personal vault) , designed to provide additional security for sensitive information users may be storing in the cloud. Using a pin, Dropbox Plus users can access sensitive information on and offline safely and securely. Learn more about this new technology at TechRepublic.

South Africa’s PostBank is Replacing 12 Million Bank Cards After Major Security Breach
Rogue employees stole PostBank’s 26-digit master key during a data center move back in 2018. This theft, which exposed millions of individual credentials and personal information, has resulted in the loss of 3.35 million dollars that was supposed to go to social programs receiving grant money. In addition to this loss, PostBank has had to reissue 12 million bank cards at a cost of 58.7 million dollars to the firm. Reports show that the breach hasn’t been completely addressed, potentially leaving those who bank at PostBank vulnerable to further breach. Read about this story at Security Boulevard.
